He has been serving as Assistant Professor in the Department of Plastic Surgery at LTMMC and LTMGH, Sion, Mumbai since 2018, following his role as a Super Speciality Medical Officer in the same department. Dr. Ekhande’s expertise spans aesthetic surgeries, trauma and burn reconstruction, congenital deformity correction, and advanced microsurgical techniques, with a strong commitment to delivering safe, precise, and patient-focused care.

He completed his M.Ch. in Plastic Surgery (2014–2017) and M.S. in General Surgery (2011–2014) from LTMMC and LTMGH, Sion, Mumbai, following his MBBS (2005–2011) from Seth GSMC and KEMH, Parel, Mumbai. Dr. Ekhande has contributed significantly to academic research, with his MUHS-approved doctoral thesis on SIRS and MODS in Trauma (2014), and multiple papers presented at national conferences, including a best paper award at Traumasicon 2015. His work has also been published in the International Journal of Medical Research (2017). In addition, he has successfully completed the ATLS course in 2014, further strengthening his expertise in trauma management and surgical care.
